Head of Investor Relations | Hybrid | Up to £100k plus commission

Our client is a successful, privately owned asset-backed finance company based in Exeter, with investors across the South West. With over £50m under investment and plans to grow they are recruiting a newly created role of Head of Investor Relationsto help grow the funding base from private individuals and companies.

Responsibilities Include:

• Actively network to introduce more Investors and increase the fund size to meet the growing number of lending opportunities.
• Undertake Investor marketing to drive increased awareness amongst the sophisticated investor base in the region.
• Identify and execute on opportunities to raise finance from companies, charities and other institutions to support the growth of the business.
• Lead Investor Relations activity – these range from regular newsletters through to investor lunches – to help retain existing investors and gain referrals
• Continue lending under current format of loan notes, whilst also contributing to the evolution of the product-set which may include other products e.g., IHT structure; ISA wrapper; IPP and SASS wrapper and overseas funding.
• Manage the quantum of funding appropriately and ensure liquidity and pricing aspects are managed in line with expectations.
• In all things, work to the right level of compliance, legal and regulatory obligations.

Experience and Skills include:

• You have a proven track record in attracting and/or managing money for HNW individuals/companies.
• You have excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to present financial opportunities clearly and persuasively.
• You have longevity in previous roles / with previous employers demonstrating reliability, trustworthiness, and loyalty.
• You have good knowledge and experience of regulatory and compliance environment.

Package and Benefits:

• Salary up to £100k depending on experience
• Commission (taking OTE to £130k)
