Our client is an Early Start Up B2B company with private equity backing and a seasoned, highly experienced leadership team at the helm. They are planning on several acquisitions in 2024 and plan to grow the business to £40m turnover in the next 12 months.
Job Description
- Developing and implementing IT strategies and systems.
- Leading IT projects; including integration of new businesses, system deployments, software delivery and IT infrastructure
- Managing IT budgets and forecasting future needs.
- Ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Build IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify IT needs and solutions.
- Overseeing troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery.
- Reporting to senior management on IT performance and initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of IT should have:
- Proven experience in a similar Head of IT role, with a track record of managing IT operations for SME sized businesses
- M&A experience; merger and acquisition including due diligence and IT integration are essential
- The ability to develop strategic plans and implement IT initiatives.
- A strong understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Broad IT knowledge across IT operations, data, software platforms, ERP and cyber
