SalaryOur client is looking to appoint a Head ofIT Service Management and Infrastructure whose responsibility will be to support and maintain their IT infrastructure and applications.
You will address areas such as application & infrastructure operational support, service desk function, technical support (incl. out of hours), etc. The Head ofIT Service Management and Infrastructure will manage a team of approximately 20+ colleagues and a number of partners.
Areas of responsibilities will include:
• ITSM Strategy and adoption, incl. Change Control Management / Incident Management
• Infrastructure (Cloud and on-prem), incl. DR
• End User Experience (Service Desk, End User Computing (EUC), AV)
• End User Applications (E5 suite of products)
• Networking
• Enterprise Security
• Hosting of Data
• Telephony / Call Centre
• 24/7 Control Room
• All Cyber considerations
• Budget / Licencing within the area of responsibility
What they are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Extensive relevant working experience in a similar role in a highly regulated and complex industry.
ITIL Qualifications are highly desirable.
Proficiency in managing an operational support environment with critical systems.
Experience in managing external providers.
Problem-solving: solves complex problems and provides effective solutions.
Customer focus: develops and implements service excellence concepts.
Managing People: implements effective people management practices.
Decision-making: assesses the impact of actions and decisions.
Leading: demonstrates direction.
