We are delighted to be instructed to appoint a Head of Land on behalf of a dynamic property business that undertake large-scale commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land developments across the Midlands. The business is very well established and has an excellent track record, it is also very well-funded with a strong, long-term appetite towards development and risk. You will be responsible for:

• Identifying, assessing, and acquiring profitable sites for development, ensuring a smooth throughput of sites to satisfy the business plan
• Further embedding the brand name within the agent/landowner community, developing long-term relationships
• Working closely with the internal teams to ensure that potential sites are assessed fully and then progressed though the development phase
• Sites can be acquired in a wide range of ways including freehold, hybrid, by option, conditional/unconditional etc and you will have a good working knowledge of these

You are an experienced land professional with a deep understanding of the Midlands market and an excellent network of contacts - across the board. You have the gravitas and robustness to operate at senior board level but are also able to deal with a landowner on a one-to-one basis. You have a professional qualification and are probably working for another developer, agent or land promoter.
