SalaryAward winning accountancy firm seeks a key hire - a director to join their Landed Estates and farming specialist tax practice. In this role you will advise HNW individuals and families on the day to day tax issues arising from their businesses and estates. This includes;
-Manage a portfolio of clients, including partnerships, sole traders and high net worth individuals.
-Advise commercial farming businesses on both business and personal tax issues.
-Build and maintain client relationships and provide a high level of client service.
-Effectively manage, motivate, mentor and develop other members of the tax team and offer a professional role model, as well as working closely with the Farms and Estates accounts team.
-Understand technical matters and present them in a clear and practical way.
-Support Partners on advisory projects and implementation of complex tax planning arrangements.
for farmers and landowners, including capital gains tax, inheritance tax and succession planning.
-Actively develop the business, winning work by proactively managing existing clients, and targeting new clients.
-Be involved in formal and informal pitching procedures.
-Establish a strong network of contacts, internally and externally, including agents, solicitors, bank managers and other professionals working in the rural sector.
