Head of Learning – Allied Health & Care

£53,306 - £58,255 per annum

37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The Head of Learning role is a diverse role that focuses on leading quality improvements across a rich and diverse curriculum.

We are seeking a visionary and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Learning for Allied Health.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and driving partnerships with Allied Health organisations and NHS trusts. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategies to establish and maintain partnerships with new and existing stakeholders that align with the College's goals and objectives.

The Head of Learning for Allied Health will be responsible for:
  • Leading negotiations and contract discussions to secure partnerships and develop mutually beneficial agreements
  • Monitoring and evaluating the success of partnerships, ensuring that they deliver desired outcomes and meet key performance indicators
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Allied Health and NHS partnerships
  • Provide guidance and support to the team to ensure seamless implementation and management of partnerships

In addition, the Head of Learning for Allied Health must be a creative innovator who will drive forward the co-development of the curriculum for all of the Allied Health provision (14-16, Foundation Learning, Health and Sport and Public Services) to achieve growth.

As our Head of Learning, you will lead, motivate and develop your team to provide an outstanding provision to learners. Your role will be to focus on high standards of teaching, learning and assessment, undertake quality improvement activities and lead the strategic growth of the curriculum areas for which you have overall day to day responsibility.

Our Head of Learning will be a qualified teacher and will have proven experience of Further Education curriculum delivery, planning and administration, a proven record of promoting teaching, learning and assessment to a consistently high standard, as well as experience of operating at a management level and budget management.

As a member of the Group’s College Management Team, you will also be involved in a mixture of both college specific and Group-wide projects and initiatives.
