Head of Legacy and In Memory

We are looking for a Head of Legacy and In Memory to join an incredible health charity, to lead a team to build and develop their vital Legacy and In Memory programme.

This is a flexible hybrid role, ideally with weekly attendance in the Hampshire office.

The Charity

The Role
Develop the Legacy strategy with a thorough understanding of pieplines and reforecasting to deliver over £3m annual income.

Lead a team of three direct reports, and two additional reports, including a freelancer.

Create and implement multi-channel campaigns to recruit new legacy supporters from warm audiences and Increase the number of legacies notified from these sources.

Introduce new transformational projects and explore new avenues and audiences for Legacy and In Memory giving, reaching beyond audiences already known.

Create and implement a detailed In Memory and tribute fundraising plan based on analysis of donor sources, income and activity.

Act as a Gifts in Wills and In Memory ambassador across the organisation.

The Candidate
Proven experience and a successful track record at a senior level in legacy fundraising, including the creation, development and implementation of strategic fundraising plans.

Excellent relationship management and programme delivery skills.

Ability to produce accurate budgets and regular forecasts and to communicate complex financial information.
