Permanent Opportunity - Head of Maintenance

Venn Group are working with a large private school in Essex to recruit for a full-time Head of Maintenance

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Length: Permanent

Location: Essex

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for the day to day management of the School’s maintenance team ensuring planned and reactive works are completed
• be responsible for building maintenance providing PPM structure, reactive and proactive multi-skilled service on all M&E operational equipment
• ensure the Estates meets and exceeds all its statutory and mandatory building services compliance obligations
• manage the redecoration and refurbishment work to ensure that the teaching facilities, equipment, plant, premises and grounds (not including sports grounds) of the school are maintained
• manage the work of external contractors, monitor the work of in house maintenance staff via the Maintenance Supervisor
• assist the Estates Bursar to prepare budget plans and specifications for maintenance work

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in a similar role at a similar level
