Head Of Marketing & Communications

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to bring to life our integrated global marketing and communications strategy, and to raise awareness of our products and the high-quality service we offer to charities, universities and the not-for-profit sector. This is a senior role within our organisation and the successful candidate will have a strong commercial focus and the ability to identify opportunities to showcase the business in markets around the world. Key tasks will include:

• Developing and delivering a global marketing and communications plan
• Managing and developing our brand, to truly represent our values and culture to internal and external stakeholders
• Managing, supporting and inspiring a team of four to deliver an outstanding, results-focused marketing and communications strategy
• Developing KPIs and Objectives in line with the business plan and reporting on progress to the Board of Directors each month
• Managing the marketing budget including the production of an annual budgeted marketing plan
• Managing marketing requests from around the organisation and proactively seeking opportunities to further support and improve collateral.
• Managing the relationship with our PR agency, coordinating press releases, insight pieces, commentary and industry research
• Managing Diversity Travel & Diversity Study Trips global websites and using website analytics to further improve the sites
• Steering growth of brands via performance marketing across all channels
• Overseeing social media platforms and email marketing using our CRM system
• Regularly researching, analysing and monitoring trends within the business travel and the sectors our clients operate in

• Significant experience working in a mixed marketing role within B2B and B2C environments
• Proven experience of managing a high performing marketing team
• Strong events management and delivery experience
• Experience using social media platforms for online analysis and marketing
• Organisation and time management skills
• Highly detail orientated and results focussed
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as internet research skills
• Experience within business travel or any of our core sectors desirable
