Are you a senior manager, with an operations / transport background, looking to join a global, market leader, in a highly autonomous and varied role, where you will have a direct impact on the business's strategy and objectives?
This is a rare opportunity to join a well renowned business, where you will manage and grow your own team of senior managers, implement your own ideas and processes, whilst having a structured path to progress to Directorship.
This company are a world leading manufacturer and are recognised across the world for their engineering excellence. Due to a company restructuring they now need a Head of Transport to help shape the department and drive positive change.
In this role you will head up the delivery / transportation division, overseeing a team of Transport managers. You will at ways to improve best process / change management, negotiate with key customers and trade unions and work with the director team to shape the business' delivery strategy.
The role would suit a senior manager, with operations / transport background, with experience dealing with trade union, looking for a highly autonomous role within a global, blue-chip company.
The Role:

• Office based with some travel
• £70,000 to £90,000 + Bonus + Company Car

The Person:

• Senior management experience
• Operations / transport background
• Understanding of SHEQ
• Experience dealing with trade unions
