About your new role
. Manage New Business acquisition and sales targets across the firm
. Developing and executing strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our client base
. Leads and, manages the New Business team, being accountable for their performance and providing them with professional development opportunities
. Identifying growth opportunities within market sectors or geographical regions
. Direct, develop and manage the implementation of individual client growth plans
. Design and implement new client acquisition strategies
. Ensures direct reports collaborate across teams such as BD, Marketing, Product & Innovation, CyXcel, HR Rely, Segments and Sectors
. Using pipeline metrics, prepare reports and forecasts for senior management
. Work with Segment Heads to set achievable new sales targets
. Work with Product & Innovation to commercialise new and existing product development portfolio
. Develop a sales coaching culture across the firm
. Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders

• Managing the New Business managers, New Business executives and New Business PAs
Financial
• Achievement of the team revenue growth, product and profitability targets within the client portfolio
Other Accountabilities
• Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
• Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
• Reporting on market forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
Additional Requirements (if applicable)
• Role is based in Liverpool however travel to other offices is required
About You
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience (requirement to fulfil role responsibilities)
Essential
. Previous experience within a senior sales role, 3 years minimum
. Experience in managing a business development team with significant growth ambitions
. Previous experience of working within professional services
. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
. Proven business development track record of meeting or exceeding targets
. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level
. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
. Proven ability to articulate the distinct value of products and services
. Proven ability to position products and or solutions against competitors
. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
