Job Description
- Leading the sales team in identifying and securing New Business opportunities
- Developing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong market presence
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Coordinating with other department heads to align company strategies and operations
- Providing accurate forecasts and sales reports to company executives
- Managing and resolving complex customer complaints and disputes involving sales and service
- Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of New products and competition status
- Overseeing the recruitment, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of New Business should have:
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven sales experience in a managerial role within the professional services industry
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
