To lead and develop the warehouse operations department to ensure consistent, reliable and professional service to our customers. Responsibilities:
• tLeading and developing the warehouse and distribution team through team leaders and supervisors.
• tTo lead and motivate the team by using the management information available.
• tEnsuring the warehouse and distribution operations run efficiently without disruptions.
• tImplementing new processes and systems to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• tInvolve the teams in making decisions through the development of focus groups looking at areas for continuous improvement and feedback on making the department a better place to work.
• tDeveloping own fleet and managing third party couriers to ensure consistently reliable delivery.
• tSpace capacity planning and forecasting.
• tEnsuring stock accuracy is improved and maintained through regular stock checks.
• tRecruiting new team members to help achieve department goals.
• tAssisting in setting department goals and budgets and ensuring they are met.
• tLiaising regularly with line manager to feedback and discuss ideas and opportunities.
• tHelping achieve our target of providing the best level of customer service in the industry. Candidate Requirements:

- Previous experience working as an Operations Manager (Essential) n
- Proven experience in streamlining Operational Processes and reducing operational cost (Essential) n
- Strong leadership and team-building skills (Essential) n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities (Essential) n
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (Essential) n
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (Essential) n
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment (Essential) n
- Reach Truck and/or Counter-Balance Licence (Preferable) n
- ISO Accreditation Experience (Preferable) n
- Lean Six Sigma Experience (Preferable) n
