Head of Paediatrics

Leaders in Care are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Paediatrics to join an award-winning, well-established and progressive provider of paediatric complex care within the community.
This exciting position comes with a generous package of up to £80,000 and is a unique opportunity for you to join an outstanding community provider that has grown by over 400% in the past 3 years! This is largely a remote position requiring a couple of days in the SE London based office per month.

The successful Head of Paediatrics will play a pivotal strategic role as the company are preparing for another exciting growth phase!
Key requirements for a Head of Paediatrics:

• RSCN / RGN with a minimum of 5 years' experience in community complex care and an active NMC PIN
• Proven leadership experience in a similar managerial role within a complex care environment
• Strong understanding of community-based paediatric care practices and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex clinical issues with a person-centred approach.

Key responsibilities for a Head of Paediatrics:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of 15 Regional Clinical Leads / Paediatric Nurse Case Managers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services in line with best practices and regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement effective operational strategies to optimise patient care pathways, enhance service efficiency, and maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.
• Oversee the management of resources, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the paediatrics department.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among the clinical team, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best-practice.
