Job description

I am assisting a fast-growing ecommerce company, based in Maidstone, in their search for a Head of Paid Social. As an industry leader in their field, they are constantly expanding our team to meet the growing demands of their customer base. If you are passionate about ecommerce, have a deep understanding of Paid Social advertising across Meta platforms, and have 5 years hands on experience of Paid Social campaigns, I want to hear from you!

As a Head of Paid Social, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective paid advertising strategies across various Meta platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, as well as Tik Tok. You will be leading a team of Paid Social Executives, guiding them to optimise campaigns, increase engagement, and drive conversion rates while maintaining a strong return on ad spend.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Paid Social advertising strategies across Meta platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to align Paid Social campaigns with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and research to identify opportunities and refine targeting and messaging.
  • Manage the daily execution and optimization of Paid Social campaigns, monitoring budgets, bids, and performance to achieve KPIs.
  • Train and guide a team of Paid Social Executives, providing feedback, sharing insights, and fostering their professional growth.
  • Analyse campaign data and provide detailed reports on performance, insights, and recommendations for improvement.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience of managing Paid Social advertising campaigns across Meta platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Paid Social advertising best practices, segmentation, targeting, bidding strategies, and ad formats.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and guide a team of Paid Social Executives.
  • Proficiency in using analytics and social media advertising platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads, etc.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, changes, and innovations in social media advertising.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms and understanding of the online retail landscape is preferred.
