We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of People to support the management team in the day-to-day operations of a high-quality care service in the Bedfordshire area who provide dementia care, companionship, EOL care, 24/7 emergency care, domestic/personal care and live in care.

The Role:
- Work closely with the Registered Manager and other senior care staff
- Dealing with HR issues
- Managing the recruitment and retention function for the branch
- Training and onboarding of new staff
- Ensure new staff are compliant before booking into shifts
- Recruitment and retention of staff
- Compliance
- Processing candidates
- Admin
- Creating candidate and client files
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience in a similar fast paced role, with a proven track record in providing consistent excellent customer service
- Good knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the Care Standards regulations
- HR/recruitment experience
- Ability to multi task in a busy, ever changing environment
- Good working knowledge of IT Systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite as well as a recognised rota management system
- Excellent attention to detail
