TristoneNash have recently partnered with a social housing provider with a fantastic reputation across South Wales. We are assisting them with a vacancy within Human Resources:

Head of People Services - CIPD Level 7

Location: South Wales

Working from Home: Monday, Tuesday and one other day in the week in office with two days working from home

Length of Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract

Pay: £65,000 per annum

• Providing visible direction & oversight to the delivery of a first-class People Services driving people resources across the business, continuous improvement and customer experience
• Helping guide the business to create a thriving workplace where our people feel engaged, happy and able to fulfil their potential
• Managing members of the team, including attendance and performance management
• Identifying the personal and professional development of the teams, including training and development needs, to promote a commitment to continuous development and improvement with the aim of building on talent and creating opportunities for sustainable internal succession planning
• Working as a senior manager within the People Function, working closely with the People Functions Senior Leadership team, the post holder will be key to influencing, developing, and embedding our People Plan
• Acting as a catalyst for change, the post holder will work closely with the People Functions Senior Leadership Team to develop and embed the Business Partner model to redefine the departments’ function and delivery offer
• Leading, managing and having strategic oversight for the HR (Policy, Processes and Systems), Resourcing (Recruitment, Job Evaluation & Workforce Planning) Workforce Information and Systems and Business Partnering
• Operating as an integral member of the Directorate (Resources) the Head of People Services is responsible for the provision of comprehensive, professional, and high-quality strategic HR advice and support to ensure best practice people management
