Form of workWe are currently looking for a Head of Portfolio & Partnerships
This role will focus on leading the team responsible for sourcing high quality carbon offsets and identifying new project development opportunities, in addition to the management and execution of the various responsibilities as described below.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables: The Head of Portfolio & Partnerships is responsible for managing the Portfolio & Partnerships team to enrich the Carbon Offset portfolio of the company with Best-In-Class projects and qualitative environmental assets.
The key responsibilities:
• Manage the Portfolio & Partnerships team overall strategy with the Group Director
• Put in place and track the necessary KPIs and tools, in collaboration with the Project Development team, Process & Quality team and the Group Director
• Contribute to the strategic development of the company’s innovative global carbon offset portfolio of projects;
• Responsible for the overall strategy and governance of the Portfolio & Partnerships team globally;
• Manage the Portfolio & Partnerships team, including mentoring and training staff;
• Build network by developing new and reinforcing long-term strategic partnerships;
Relationships
External relationships are a key part of the role, with a requirement to liaise with project teams, clients, overseas offices, and representatives from partner organisations.
Professional Background and Experience
• Have a thorough understanding of the voluntary carbon market, the market evolution and the main players;
• Have an existing network of partners and project holders across the market;
• Expert knowledge of voluntary carbon markets, carbon project development, nature-based carbon accounting methodologies, and both global certification standards and National labels;
• Knowledge and experience working in Carbon Finance as part of the voluntary carbon offsetting at a national and international level. 3
