Location: Greater London (3 days a week in the office)
Salary: Up to £150,000 + significant bonus
The UK life insurance industry could on-board more than £500 billion of pension liabilities and associated assets over the coming decade. This is therefore an area getting a lot of interest from actuaries across life and pensions, with people either wanting to make the switch or moving from one provider to another to advance their career.
This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a BPA pricing team. If you're a qualified actuary with several years of relevant pricing experience (either Life or Pensions) and the team management skills to build a team, then this could be the perfect next step for your career...
A few of the key responsibilities are:

• Build a successful BPA pricing team and enable it to perform through effective team management.
• Development and improvement of Pricing models for the BPA business.
• Stakeholder management, building relationships (internally and externally) and helping to further the business through business development.
• Industry research and strategic input to enable the business to stay aHead of its competitors.
• Ensure successful bids are migrated properly by working closely with the transfer team and review pricing where necessary.
• Collaboration with the legal team on contract matters related to BPA pricing.
• Work closely with senior management to ensure each quote is priced accurately and appropriately.
