Description
As Head of Project Delivery, you will support the growth of the business and take on responsibility for the Project Management team. This team is responsible for a portfolio of technical, client facing projects, that you will oversee and plan; as well as managing large and complex projects yourself.
This role will require a hands-on management style and the ideal candidate should be prepared to get involved at a detailed level.
There is a need for more robust governance across Project Delivery and you will have the opportunity to review current processes and recommend new ways of working.
You will be customer facing and will manage external stakeholders as well as vendor partner relationships.
Profile
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a smaller, thriving business where you can use your experience to help further their capability. It is essential that this individual has solid people management skills, with line management experience of project management teams.
You must have a proven track record of technical Project Delivery and a well established track record of producing high-quality results whilst maintaining customer & partner relationships.
Project/Programme Management certification preferred e.g. Prince2, PMP, MSP, AgilePM etc.
A good understanding of managed network solutions would be highly beneficial.
