Head Of Project Delivery

Small, well-established, growing and innovative SaaS business who are leaders in their field are looking for an experienced Head of Project Delivery to take on a new role within the Management team.

Ideally you will be situated in the South Midlands (Milton Keynes ish location), as they would like someone who could get into the office 1-2 times per week and there is occasional travel to client sites which could be anywhere in the UK, again lending itself to a Midlands location.

This is a new role and will take responsibility for the following:

• The work will primarily focus on leading the team responsible for customer implementations and projects involving wider professional services and development prior to go live.
• Leading a small team of Project Managers responsible for SaaS implementations and larger projects where the client is multi-site / enterprise.
• Attending and leading client meetings on more complex / higher value customer installs.
• Regular presentations; to external customers and internal stakeholders.
• Acting as an escalation point for your team.
• Operating as part of the wider management team to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery for customers, driving continuous improvement.
• Operating within an agile setting, ensuring delivery to sprint objectives, and contributing to sprint planning.

About you:

• An experienced Project Manager with experience SaaS vendor side, leading customer installations and professional services projects.
• Ideal experience will include exposure to the hospitality, retail, POS / ePos, ticketing, visitor attraction, events or payments sector (from a SaaS point of view).
• Experienced in managing and leading a small team; motivating others, driving delivery, and managing performance effectively.
• Able to communicate effectively with both external customers, commercially high-value stakeholders and internally to a wide audience.
• Strong personal presentation skills.
• Very well organised with a delivery-oriented mindset.
• Experienced within an agile / software setting.
• An ambitious person; very clear career and role development path into a wider and more senior management role available for the right candidate.
