What is the Role?

Our Head of Propositions and Product Development is accountable for spearheading the creation and implementation of inventive product strategies and propositions to bolster growth through the delivery of the SSE Groups Net Zero Strategy to fortify our competitive stance in the market. This entails delivering our Propositions Strategy, aligning market and customer demands, delineating SSE Energy Solutions Propositions & Product roadmaps, and overseeing the complete Product and Propositions Lifecycle from development through delivery and management. The role also encompasses managing the Product portfolio across multiple jurisdictions and sectors, ensuring alignment with delivery and commercial objectives. In this role you will:

- Provide strategic direction for the development of products and propositions aligned with company objectives and market trends

- Develop a best-in-class team to support Product rollout and propositions that deliver customer needs

- Lead the development of new business models and partnerships to meet changing market demands

- Understand the broad spectrum of future energy changes and technology and identify market trends, disruptions and opportunities that can impact product roadmap and drive initiatives to capitalize on them

- Develop a best-in-class team to support Product development rollout and Propositions that deliver customer needs and commercial objectives

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Extensive and demonstrable propositions & product experience - preferably in large Telecommunications / Financial services / Energy firm, focusing on cross sectoral Propositions and Products

- A background in Strategy Development and a proven commercial delivery track record

- A creative thinking mindset with a passion for driving change and delivering impactful results

- Experience in delivery through Agile methodology
