SalaryInterQuest are currently recruiting on behalf of a building society for a Head of Prudential Risk to join them on a part-time basis for a minimum of 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to ensure effective management of Prudential Risks across the organization.
- Provide oversight and expertise for a treasury project aimed at enhancing our capabilities in managing complex mortgage and savings products.
- Drive compliance with prudential regulations such as ICAAP, ILAAP, and operational risk management.
- Conduct second-line review of regulatory reports including COREP, FINREP, and PRA110.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for Prudential Risk governance.
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure organizational compliance.
- Contribute to the development of the Society's Recovery and Resolution Plan.
- Draft policies related to regulatory requirements such as MCOBs and Operational Resilience.
- Ensure alignment with organizational quality, health and safety, and environmental policies.
Requirements:
- Previous risk management experience within the financial services sector is essential.
- Certification such as FRM, IRM, CFA, or CISI is advantageous.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Technical expertise in risk and regulatory areas.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
