Ribbons & Reeves are currently working with a highly academic Secondary School in Teddington who are keen to take on a new Head of Science from September 2024.
The role would allow you to take ownership of the Science Department; remodel the Science Curriculum with the support of experienced Teachers; and work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team with a focus on whole-school development.
Head of Science | Job Summary:

• Head of Science | Permanent Position in Teddington
• Mentoring & leading staff in Chemistry, Physics & Biology
• 11-18 Secondary School rated 'Good' by Ofsted
• Outer London Pay Scale | MPS/UPS + TLR negotiable
• Access to Leading CPD Training Programmes

Head of Science | Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2:1 Degree from a UK Top 20 University
• QTS gained through PGCE / Schools Direct / SCITT / Teach First
• Previous experience as a Science Teacher and/or 2iC 
• Ability to demonstrate successful teaching of GCSE and A-Level Science & a thorough understanding of current educational thinking
