Do you have a passion for culture and outstanding people skills? Do you have experience managing funder relationships and managing projects? If so, you could be our new Head of Development.

The post-holder will lead on the day-to-day fundraising across specific campaigns and long-term revenue fundraising for Leeds Playhouse. The Head of Development will support the Strategic Director of Fundraising & Development in all areas but with specific responsibility to raise funds via Individual Giving and Corporate income streams.

The post-holder will be an excellent communicator and administrator as well as an inspirational problem solver with a strong and tenacious approach to fundraising and external relationships. Being creative and autonomous, the Head of Development will support all campaigns and lead on the management and delivery of effective Individual Giving and Corporate fundraising campaigns, overseeing an on-going programme of donor care, engagement and recruitment, that fund work across the Playhouse for both capital and revenue projects.

This is a full time, permanent contract of 40 hours per week over 6 days. Evening, weekend and some public holiday work will be required. You will be expected to work overtime as required. Leeds Playhouse operates under an in-house agreement.

This is a permanent, full time contract of 35 hours per week. Pay for the role is £30,000-35,000 per year, dependent on experience.
