Job role:Head of Student Complaints, Conduct and Funding
Location: East Sussex
Pay rate: £200-240 per day PAYE
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week onsite with occasional work from home
Duration: 6 weeks (23 March - 6 May)
Join a leading higher education institution in the Sussex area in their Directorate for the Student Experience division. We are seeking a dynamic individual for the position of Head of Student Complaints, Conduct, and Funding. As part of the Directorate for the Student Experience, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and effective management in addressing Student Complaints, misconduct, and Funding-related matters.
Your responsibilities as a Head of Student Complaints, Conduct and Funding will include:
- Lead the Student Complaints and Appeals Service, ensuring adherence to quality assurance standards
- Manage statutory, institutional, and reputational risks associated with student cases
- Oversee the effective delivery of university funding schemes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Review, develop, and implement efficient quality assurance mechanisms for all student casework and Funding processes
To be a successful in the role you will require:
- Knowledge of current policies and regulatory issues in higher education
- Management experience in complaint handling and misconduct in higher education or similar roles
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong ability to liaise effectively and provide accurate advice
