Head Of Supply Chain

An exciting opportunity for a Head of Supply Chain to join a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Newbury with a salary up to £87,000. The Head of Supply Chain will lead the Supply Chain department with an amazing opportunity progression in your career.

Candidates will have previous Supply Chain Management and Head of Supply Chain experience. Supporting the development and drive the implementation of Supply Chain strategies to deliver a highly efficient Supply Chain, through motivating and engaging the team.

Role Responsibility for the Head of Supply Chain include:

• To ensure effective and efficient planning and control of material supply to ensure a controlled production
• Effective management of customer demand, ensuring sufficient capacity is always available to satisfy customers
• Actively mentor and coach the planning and operations team to build a high performing Supply Chain team
• Identify, manage and mitigate all supply risks through the implementation of effective risk-based strategies and processes
• Ensure robust procedures are in place and followed up to manage the customer Orderbook

Person Specification for the Head of Supply Chain include:

• A strong background in Supply Chain Management and Head of Supply Chain
• Extensive people management experience
• A strong understanding of MRP and Excel
• Demonstrate leadership and coaching skills to influence the Supply Chain team
• Exposure to fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment

Salary

Up to £87k

This position offers up to two days a week from home

This role will be suited if you have held a role within Supply Chain as a Senior Supply Chain Manager, Head of Supply Chain, Supply Chain lead, Supply Chain Team Leader, Operations Manager, Operations Director, Demand Planning Manager or a Supply Chain Director.
