Head of Tax and Treasury - 100% Remote

Tax & Treasury Recruitment have been exclusively mandated by a FTSE250 media and technology company to source and select a Head of Tax and Treasury. This is a fully remote-working (UK based) role which has been created following an exciting period of change.  

As Head of Tax and Treasury, you'll have overall responsibility for tax compliance across the group, while also reviewing tax figures and disclosures for inclusion into Group consolidated and statutory accounts. You will be a key part of the implementation and maintenance of robust tax controls, you’ll serve as a key contact for HMRC enquiries, and be responsible for the management of VAT returns.

For the treasury function, you will manage banking relationships, optimise cash positions, and ensure adherence to Treasury Policies. You will provide decision support and advice to internal stakeholders, collaborating cross-functionally to enhance payment solutions and maintain PCI Security Standards compliance.

About you…

You must have relevant Accountancy (ACA, ACCA, etc.) and Taxation (CTA) qualifications, combined with strong Tax and Treasury skills, gained from experience in a large, complex corporate environment.

You must have experience of transfer pricing methodologies and implementation and be able to demonstrate the ability to bring a commercial view on Tax and Treasury accounting.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of circa £100,000 to £120,000, bonus, matched pension scheme, 25 days’ holiday (which increases over time), and private healthcare.
