A leading Top 15 accountancy firm is seeking a Head of Tax Technical to elevate their reputation in the tax profession. To help them to continue delivering top-notch tax services to a diverse client base, including private individuals, owner-managed businesses, large corporates, and non-profit organisations.
The Head of Tax Technical role is a unique opportunity for a seasoned tax professional to contribute to their growth and success.
Key responsibilities include:
- Knowledge Sharing - Produce tax publications for internal and external use
- Consultancy - Review technical tax issues and provide expert guidance
- Risk Management -Develop internal tax quality control measures
- Tax Policy - Engage with HMRC and HMT on tax policy
- Engagement with ICAEW - Actively participate and engage with ICAEW
- Technology and Systems - Contribute to tax-related technology and systems
- Line Management - Oversee the Tax Knowledge Manager's team
The ideal candidate should ideally have of the following:
- Relevant tax qualifications
- Profound knowledge of UK tax law and practice
- Understanding of the UK tax policy process
- Familiarity with tax technology
- Reputable profile within the tax profession
- Experience in producing tax-focused content
- Ability to create technical tax advice
