Join The Compleat Food Group as Head of Technical Accounts: Quality and Compliance

individual to join our team as the Head of Technical Accounts: Quality and Compliance.

As the Head of Technical Accounts: Quality and Compliance, you will be responsible for key Technical Account management for
assigned high-profile retailer/s, B2B, and food service customers. You will drive continuous improvement across all our In-House
sites, ensuring compliance with TCFG manufacturing standards, agreed KPIs, customer requirements, and legislation. High level
collaboration with external and internal partners to deliver technical innovation and improvements will be a key part of your
role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Day-to-day technical management, accountability and performance of the nominated account/s.
* Delivering technical innovation.
* Supporting our In-House sites to deliver the TCFG and customer/s technical and business strategy.
* Formulating and delivering strategic technical plans.
* Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver new products and provide technical and innovative solutions to business and product
challenges.
* Managing customer performance data and enabling continuous improvement.
* Developing customer compliance and quality plans.
* Orchestrating customer visits/audits/launches.
* Supporting product process and design from a technical perspective.
* Handling any additional reasonable technical requests.
* Achieve KPI’s
Requirements
* Strong technical acumen from a chilled food background
* Previous technical management experience
* Strong organisational skills, manage time, work independently and find appropriate solutions
* Exceptionally well-developed interpersonal skills, able to listen to requirements and influence decisions
* Sound knowledge of food science and UK/European regulation
* Commercial awareness
* Proficiency in MS Office applications and specifications systems
* Ability to develop excellent relationships based on integrity and trust
* Thrives in a fast-paced challenging environment
Experience
* Proven track record of Technical/quality management
* Effective communication and negotiation skills
* Experience in complex raw material supply chains
* Ability to forward think and problem solve
* Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally
* UK retailer experience
