Quality & Compliance Manager

Nottingham

Full time, Permanent

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Our client, a nanotechnology company developing novel nano products and procedures are recruiting for a Quality & Compliance Manager. You will be responsible for establishing the quality division of the company as well as performing standardised quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You will also be required to maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality control improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO 9001 and any other relevant standards.
  • Ensure that all products meet all relevant quality and regulatory requirements, including CE marking and other certifications.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including health and safety regulations and environmental regulations.
  • Manage all aspects of compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR and other data protection laws.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that all processes are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including procurement, production, and shipping.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality and compliance for all employees.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure that the company is always in compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in quality management and regulatory compliance, ideally in a manufacturing or technology company.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety regulations and environmental regulations.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining a quality management system.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in conducting internal audits.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
