We are currently looking for a Head of Technical Production to join us on a full time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will lead on the safe and effective planning, delivery and management of Technical Production services for all events and activity across the Southbank Centre site, on time and on budget. This includes outdoor space as well as the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and non auditorium spaces, offsite venues, touring productions and other public spaces.
We are looking for a leader that will develop and evolve a team and service that responds collaboratively, creatively and expertly to the various opportunities and challenges that emerge, with strong communication within the team, internally with other departments and externally with a range of stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work across a variety of responsibilities which include but are not limited to grow and champion the skills and capabilities of the team, identifying opportunities to develop and embrace new ways of working and new technology. To devise, plan and deliver department objectives and contribute to the development and delivery of the wider strategic priorities of the organisation, acting as a key liaison and advisor where appropriate, with clear lines of communication and influence.
