As a Head of Technical Projects, you are responsible for managing contracts and relationships with both clients and suppliers, as well as overseeing agent contracts and relationships with entities such as Meter Operators, Data Collectors/Aggregators, and Distribution Network Operators. You will serve as a liaison within the industry, ensuring effective communication between agents, suppliers, clients, and Third-Party Intermediaries (TPIs) to ensure timely project delivery within scope. Handling data flow is a critical aspect of your responsibilities, encompassing flow management, exception handling, and reporting. You will also manage both data and billing queries, including complex issues, until resolution is achieved. Updating systems to log project activity for reporting purposes is another essential task, alongside day-to-day contact liaison, contract development, and improvement identification and implementation. Internal and external reporting is conducted as needed, and you will attend and contribute to client, supplier, and industry meetings. Utilising tools like SAGE, you will accurately generate invoices in accordance with contract terms and develop proposals with costings aligned to relevant delivery costs. Additionally, you will ensure our client database is consistently updated with precise and current project information.

Head of Technical Projects Requirements:

* Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar or significant demonstrable experience.
* Experience of utility industry, specifically the UK commercial electricity market.
* Knowledge of Connections and metering process within the business electricity supply market.
* Skilled in management of registration and 'Data flow' processes within UK commercial electricity market.
* Settlement and billing processes of electricity & gas supply markets.
* Any other utility skills and experience to include commercial water, telecoms as well as domestic utilities.
* Experience of utility network infrastructure & metering.
* Established network of contacts within the industry to enable business development.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Experience of managing and leading a team.
* Great organisation and time management skills.
* Sound IT knowledge of Excel, Word, SAGE, CRM systems and industry databases
* Develops long-term business relationships with suppliers and other professionals in the energy industry.
* Commercially astute, identifying opportunities and growth areas for the business.
* Emotionally intelligent with a high level of flexibility.

Head of Technical Projects Benefits:

* Circa �45,000 - �50,000 per annum
