Job Summary
Head of UK & EU Industrial & Logistics Investment – LondonWe have an exciting opportunity to lead Investment activity across the UK & Europe for a client that co invests with Institutional Investors.
Our client already has a significant industrial portfolio which they are keen to grow and they are keen to speak to people with a proven track record in industrial investment in the UK & Europe (particularly France & Germany).
Our client is an independent and well established operating platform that seek to maximise value at all stages of the investment process by combining institutional-class financial and strategic know-how with hands-on operational skills and local expertise.
Over the last 18 years their track record has led a wide range of blue-chip institutional investors to build repeat joint ventures alongside them.
The Head of UK & EU Industrial & Logistics Investment will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of their investment portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with the company's objectives and risk appetite.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Lead the due diligence process, including financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Negotiate and structure investment deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, developers, and financial institutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, making recommendations for optimization or divestment when necessary.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the investment team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Proven track record of acquisitions in the Industrial and Logistics market, with a minimum of 15 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK & EU (France & Germany primarily) real estate market, including market trends, regulations, and key players.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risk.
- Excellent negotiation and deal structuring abilities, with a demonstrated ability to close complex transactions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
