Our client is a Fine Dining Private Members Club in Central London which is looking for a talented Head Pastry Chef to join their kitchen and manage one Pastry Chef. The salary available is £40,000 plus a £5,000 bonus. This exclusive members club serves the best of British cuisine and could be the perfect next step for an ambitious Pastry Chef looking to advance their career in a Fine Dining kitchen. The position is Monday to Friday with the kitchen closed on weekends, Christmas and Bank Holidays.
The Pastry Chef will have the chance to work with the finest, fresh ingredients with an excellent brigade of chefs which pride themselves on the quality of food produced. The successful Pastry Chef will be catering for a mixture of banqueting and an a la carte menu.
The ideal candidate will have:
·A passion for pastry to a Fine Dining standard.
·Experience managing a pastry section within a fine dining or luxury hotel kitchen.
·Ability to nurture and train a demi-level Pastry Chef and uphold their consistent and progressive environment.
·The ability to create menus and be creative.
·Training and experience working with traditional and modern pastry techniques.
·Good communication skills.
