Salary: Circa£55 - 60kdepending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working:We trust our people to agree, within their teams, where and when they can be most effective. Our Dynamic Working policy allows individuals flexibility around the hours they work and where they work. Typically for this role you will work 2-3 days per week on-site.
The opportunity:
The Head of Portfolio Air Platform Integration is responsible for supporting and improving the integration of weapons and Air Platforms across the MBDA complex weapons portfolio. This includes contributions to the integration cost estimation process, liaison with programme managers, driving generic Platform Integration improvement initiatives into portfolio projects, close liaison with the UK MOD customer, and helping to transform the air weapon integration process. This role offers a unique insight into MBDA business in many areas, and a broad view of integration of varied types of weapons onto differing Air Platforms. You will be a member of a close-knit team, including technical experts and subject matter experts on a range of integration activities, with whom you will look for innovative improvements to the integration landscape. You will also work with MBDA colleagues from other nations, helping drive innovation in integration across the Group.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of Air Platforms and weapon integration, and should have experience of working with the UK MOD in the integration environment. You should have a broad understanding of weapons technology and aircraft, and must be able to combine this with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with technical and non-technical colleagues, able to explain integration challenges and help develop solutions to these challenges.
This role also offers line-management opportunities.

- Experience of weapon / Platform Integration activity
- Familiarity with the UK MOD approach to weapon / Air Platform Integration
- The ability to work across varied groups of partners in technical and programmatic areas
- An enthusiasm for innovation in weapon / Platform Integration
- The ability to understand differing viewpoints and work towards consensus in Air Platform / weapon integration
