SalaryAn expanding, privately owned independent mixed practice is seeking an experienced and ambitious Head Small Animal Vet to manage and oversee the day-to-day clinical caseload and business operations.
Role Details:
- Hours: Four-day week with time for administration built into the schedule. Participation in an equally shared out-of-hours rota, maximum 1:5 (currently 1:10). Monday off after on-call duty, with a three-day weekend following on-call.
- Duties: Provide support and leadership to colleagues, mentor graduates, manage clinical and business operations, and support the transition as the practice recently achieved hospital status through the RCVS practice standards scheme.
- Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.

- Qualifications: Qualified veterinarian with leadership experience.

Certificates are encouraged, with six certificate holders across the business, including an advanced practitioner in Small Animal medicine and a surgical certificate holder.
