AddressLanghillVPP is recruiting for a small animal first opinion practice in Ilford who are seeking a Head RVN to join the team on a full time basis!
The practice is very well equipped with state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, New Doppler ultrasound with ECG, Endoscopy, Multiparameter, Doppler blood pressure machine, in-house catalyst machine for biochemistry heated kennels, catteries and isolation with individual dimmer lighting.
You will be joining an existing team of 6 vets, 3 RVNs, and 3 VCA’s. You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential through nurse clinics theatre work and everything!
You will be directing the day to day running of the nursing team as well as having managerial skills to optimise workflow.
Developing the potential of our RVNs in their individual surgical and medical interests, as well as assisting the training of the whole nurse and VCA team.
You will be involved in appraisals and auditing of clinical care, and so must be able to inspire and motivate. As a clinical coach you will instrumental in growing your own team of qualified nurses.
Your excellent teamwork and passion for caring for your communities’ pets means you will be in the heart of the action. Working with experienced driven veterinary colleagues you will be fully supported in developing your veterinary career whilst being able to offer Gold Standard healthcare to your patients.You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including Schedule 3 procedures, theatre work and nurse consults to make this a pet care destination of choice.
30 - 35 hours per week
1 in 5 weekends required
