The Governing Body of Roberttown CofE Primary School is seeking to recruit an ambitious and inspirational Headteacher with the desire, passion and commitment who will work collaboratively to deliver continued school improvement.
Owing to the retirement of the current Headteacher, a wonderful opportunity has arisen for a leader, either new to Headship, or an already established Headteacher, to lead a well-respected and highly regarded primary school.
Roberttown is situated in the village of Roberttown in North Kirklees and is home to 200+ pupils. The school takes an active role in its local community having strong links with charities and the local Church.
Underpinning the success of the school are the strong values and ethos which the current leadership team and staff all share to ensure all children achieve to the best of their ability. This is supported by the school’s Christian ethos where all pupils are:
‘Good Samaritans who aspire to excellence in God’s world.’
The ideal candidate will:
- Have extensive previous experience of working as part of a Senior Leadership Team and excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
- Be able to demonstrate success at leading school improvement and raising educational standards for all children
- Possess the ability to empower staff and include them in the next stages of the schools journey
- Be committed to working alongside other schools to drive forward school improvement and share best practice
- Align to the mission, vision and values of a Church school.
In return, the school will offer:
- An opportunity to lead a school which has an excellent reputation with all stakeholders and is committed to continuous improvement.
- Dedicated staff who are hardworking, committed and want to achieve the best for their pupils.
- Pupils who are well behaved and enjoy learning.
- Committed and supportive governors, parents and the wider community.
