Hampshire County Council are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Adviser to join its Corporate Health and Safety Team.
In the role you will provide competent Health and Safety support to our managers and staff. You will assist with the delivery of a proactive improvement plan based on the HSG65 management approach as well as managing a reactive workload including incident investigations.
The successful candidate for the Health and Safety adviser role will be qualified to NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent level, preferably with experience in providing Health and Safety advice in areas involving public interaction. You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire [and the Isle of Wight or other local authority], and it is essential that you have a current drivers’ licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
