Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company objectives. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate workplace incidents and accidents. Provide guidance and support to management and employees on health, safety, and environmental matters, including training programs and awareness campaigns. Collaborate with cross–functional teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into daily operations and strategic planning initiatives. Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, maintaining compliance records and facilitating inspections as required.
Experience
Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to health, safety, and environmental practices. Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are desirable. Benefits:
