1 year contract with potential extension
About the role:
NRL are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join the team of one of our leading clients in the Power Transmission and Distribution sector. Our client is looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about Health and Safety and who is willing to learn and grow with the team.
We are looking for a candidate who will support the project management team to ensure all work on site is delivered safely while providing guidance and support to all members of the team through strong working relationships.
This is a full time site based role which requires travelling between 2 substations based in the Norfolk and Suffolk area.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
Daily duties include the following:
- Conducting training and inductions
- Support with the development of Health and Safety plans
- Provide guidance on preparation of safety systems of work, method statements and risk assessments
- Capture and promote good practice
- Communicate and reinforce the clients ‘Safety first’ approach
- Assist with the investigation of incidents, accidents or near misses
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- NEBOSH General certificate
- 3 years’ experience in a HSE role is desirable
- Experience in the Transmission and Distribution sector is desirable
- Good knowledge of CDM regulations
