Principal People are recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join a highly reputable, leading engineering maintenance organisation. This position is a 12-month FTC and is to pay the successful candidate a salary of £42-48k + Package. This is a multisite position with travel predominantly across the North East.

The Health and Safety Advisor you will be responsible for:

• Undertaking operational responsibilities across a multisite portfolio including.
• Reviewing of risk assessments and method statements, site inspections and audits.
• Continually developing relationships with both internal/external stakeholders.
• Driving a positive Health and Safety culture.
• Health and safety reporting amongst other relevant operational duties.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will:

• Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent minimum.
• Hold experience in engineering/machinery / mechanical maintenance/warehousing/water treatment
• Be flexible to travel in a multisite role.
• Be an engaging and communicative individual able to liaise at all levels.
