Our Health and Safety team are looking for a talented, well organized, and dedicated Trainee Health and Safety Supervisor to take over the responsibility for improving the Health & Safety culture and to meet business needs and legislative standards.
What will my role look like?
In your role you are required to be an active member of the site’s health and safety committee you will be responsible for the delivery of the Health and Safety Strategies through your support to the Health and Safety manager and ensuring to complete the safety walks and assist in ensuring remedial actions are completed on time and monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure that all the validations and verification documentation of the health and safety are completed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing risk assessments and safe working procedures in conjunction with Department Managers and staff.
- Conducting site health and safety inspections and reporting findings to H & S Manager
- Ensuring permits to work control measure are in place in accordance with company policy.
- Assisting Department Managers in the completion of accident / near miss incident investigations.
- Assisting in the completion of all scheduled H & S monitoring.
- Assisting in the arrangements for occupational health surveillance.
- Assisting the H & S Manager in ensuring remedial actions of safety reports (E.g. Racking Inspections, Fire Risk Assessment, Insurance Reports) are completed in timely manner.
- Completing monthly KPI reports as directed by H & S Manager

- A good experience in a food manufacturing environment.
