Health and Safety CoordinatorSalary £35,000
We are searching for someone that is looking to join a successful company based in Manchester and play an extremely important role for the business which is their Health and Safety Coordinator.
This multi-location, hugely successful business is expanding, this role is a business-critical position that needs undertaking asap.
The Role:
- You will be maintaining Health and Safety procedures for the group of companies, including areas of Manufacturing, Warehousing, Distribution, and office locations across the UK.
- You will put together site-risk assessments, including equipment, manual handling, loading - unloading, transport, COSHH, PUWER, DSE.
- Accident reporting RIDDOR, return to work assessments and reasonable adjustments working alongside HR.
- Reviewing and approving contractor RAMS
- Support the strategic direction for Health and Safety within the group.
- Maintain Health and Safety guidelines for new and existing employees.
- Undertake compliance audits of all sites and manage corrective actions.
The Person:
- Experience of working within a Health and Safety role position getting involved in all areas of Health and Safety.
- A recognised qualification in Health and Safety e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, Masters, NVQ, BSc.
- Happy to travel between UK sites, sometimes for multiple days at a time.
- Ideally you would have knowledge of an Office Environment, Warehouse, Transportation/Distribution however, all Health and Safety industry experience is considered.
