We are looking for a Health & Safety Support Manager to join our clients existing team based in Swindon. The role will be covering Wiltshire and Devon.
You will plan, lead, and organise compliance activities and you will be part of the senior management team.
Duties:
- Oversee and be responsible for the divisional Health and Safety management systems and procedures.
- Assist the operations management team to implement and maintain Health and Safety systems and procedures.
- Plan and coordinate Health and Safety training for operations staff as deemed appropriate to achieve the required Health and Safety standards.
- Provide monthly compliance report to the Group Director.
- Mentor and develop the operational team's Health and Safety performance.
Experience
- Excellent communications skills and be able to support across all levels of the business.
- A NEBOSH Diploma level qualification
- Proven ability to work collaboratively at a site level in a demanding environment.
- A willingness to develop and pursue professional development in the health, safety and environmental field.
- Experience within Construction, building services advantageous
- Car driver essential
