Health & Safety Position, Derry, Salary up to £35K DOE

A Health and Safety Manager is required for a leading supplier to various industries, including agriculture, recycling, construction and mining in the Derry area. This company are manufacturers of steel products and have developed into the chosen partner of their clients due to their quest for excellence.
Your new role
As Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety and Environmental compliance. You will supervise and coordinate work systems to ensure that they meet HSE standards while collaborating with all company departments, ensuring compliance with all policies and risk management within HSE.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would have:

• General NEBOSH or Safety training Certificate
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in an HSE Management role
• Experience maintaining and implementing HSE systems
• An in-depth knowledge and understanding of HSE legislation and best practice
• Working knowledge of various ISO and OHSAS levels, eg, ISO 140001
