Senior Specialist EHS
Peopleforce Recruitment is presenting an opportunity for a Senior Specialist EHS within a global healthcare company based in Witney. This is an opportunity within a team working collaboratively to influence and educate other teams across the site to do better with Health and Safety. This role would be great for an individual who is in a senior position or is ready to take that jump. With an R&D and manufacturing site, this role would offer a diverse range of objectives.
In this role you will be required to:
- Work collaboratively with your team to not only ensure that the site is playing its part in keeping safe, but a key part is educating the different departments on what they need to do to improve
- Advising managers and other members of staff
- Keeping yourself and the overall site updated on UK laws, company procedures, and regulations
- Helping to create an environment in which, as well as your team, others work together in order to ensure the safety of general ongoings on site
- Using your existing skills to help teach the team, whilst also continuously learning about how to improve
- Take initiative with overall objectives to allow for further progression and continuous change
For this role, you will need the following:
- Evidence of working within a manufacturing and/or engineering environment, Health and Safety within a regulated industry, eg pharmaceutical, automotive, or similar
- Qualified with a NEBOSH Diploma/Level 6 equivalent
- Comfortability with a faced paced environment
- Ability and history of taking matters into your own hands
