I am looking to recruit a dynamic Health and Safety Manager to head up one of the South West regions largest projects to date.
This is a client side role based on site with occasional travel to Head Office in Coventry.
You will play a key role in governance regarding the care and protection of employees and contractors. You will be reporting into the Head of Construction and working alongside the Contracts Manager.

- General NEBOSH Certificate
- CSR Site Card
- First Aid Basic Certificate
- Minimum 5+years' experience within a similar management role with knowledge of the following:
- Risk Assessments
- conducting safety inspections
- emergency preparedness
- accident investigations
- safety communication
- PPE requirements
- Safety Communication
- Health & well-being
- Environmental compliance
- Strong Communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
- Knowledge of IOSH Safety standards and regulations relating to the specific trade or activity being managed.
- Good organisational and record keeping abilities - the ability to maintain accurate records of all safety related activities.
- Good working knowledge of British Health & Safety legislation and COMAH.
- Background managing people as the direct reporting manager.
