An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Hackney are on the hunt for a Health and Social Care Teacher / ECT for a September 2024 start. This is a full time and permanent post.
The current Health and Social Care Head of Department has helped the Health and Social Care Department grow from strength to strength. They've now got a perfect mix of young, experienced and Teach First Teachers. This is alongside multiple Health and Social Care graduate Teaching Assistants who help raise attainment across KS3,4 & 5.
This Secondary School has produced some incredible Progress 8 results across KS3,4 & 5 and have created a fun and creative learning environment for students.
Experienced Health and Social Care Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more.
Newly Qualified Health and Social Care Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Health and Social Care Teachers.

- MPS1-UPS3 - £36,745 - £56,959 + TLR (Size depending on experience)

PERSON SPECIFICATION - HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE TEACHER / ECT
- Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
- Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
- Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
- You must be able to work as part of a large team of Health and Social Care Teachers
- Must be willing to listen to feedback
